Our story
“I didn't build a travel company.I built a cure for loneliness.”
The beginning
I grew up in Naples, where life happens loudly. Around a table. With people who show up without being asked. Where nobody eats alone, nobody celebrates alone, nobody struggles alone.
Then I lost my father.
And for a while, I did all three alone.
It was a dark time. I was working remotely, technically free, my own hours, my own rules, my own life, and I couldn't feel any of it. Freedom without connection is just a different kind of loneliness.
I wasn't looking to start a company. I was looking for a way back to myself.

Sicily
So I rented a villa in Sicily for two weeks.
I invited a small group of people I met on videocalls, told them to bring their laptops, and said: let's see what happens.
I had no idea what I was doing. I was nervous. I didn't know if anyone would actually come, if it would work, if people would connect or just sit in separate corners of the house checking emails.
From day one, we were having dinner together every night. By day seven, we were laughing until 2am on the terrace about life, dreams, fears, the kind of conversations you don't have enough of. By day fourteen, nobody wanted to leave. I didn't want to leave either.
Not because of Sicily, although Sicily was magic. Because of the people. Because of what happens when you put the right humans in a beautiful place and give them time to just… be together.
I went there empty. I came home full. Myself again, properly, fully myself, for the first time in a long time.
What I saw next
Here's the thing that turned a good two weeks into six years of my life.
It wasn't only happening to me.
I watched it happen to other people too. Someone arrives quiet on day one and by day five they're the one organising dinner. Someone comes to escape a burnout and leaves with three friends and a new idea. Someone who thought they were just booking a nice villa with good wifi, and goes home changed.
And in all those conversations, the late ones, the walks, the kitchen ones at 1am I learned more than I had in years alone. Mostly this: you can make your life a new story every single day. Full of laughter, spontaneous, present, awake.
That's when I knew I'd do it again.
I never stopped.
The people
The humans behind the mission

Nico Estinto
Founder & CEO
Born in Naples. Built in motion.
I've been hosting coworking trips for 6 years across Sicily, Cyprus, Morocco, Greece, Italy, Spain and beyond. I've trained 200+ TripLeaders, built a community of 130,000+ remote workers, and spent more nights in villas with strangers who became friends than I can count.
I started Feel.Travel because I needed it. And it turned out, so did everyone else.
“Today you are here. Tomorrow you don't know.”
Olaf Maack
Angel Investor & Advisor
Olaf was one of the first people to believe in what I was building — not just as a business idea, but as a movement worth backing.
He didn't just bring capital. He brought conviction. And in the early days, when things were hard, that conviction meant everything.
The best investors don't just write cheques. They believe in people. Olaf believed in me, and in this community. And for that, I'll always be grateful.

What I believe
Six years and dozens of trips later, I still believe the same thing I believed in that Sicilian villa:
The best things in life don't happen alone.
The best ideas come from a conversation at 11pm around a table. The best friendships start with an awkward hello at the airport. The best version of yourself shows up when you're surrounded by people who get it, who actually get it.
Remote work gave us freedom. Feel.Travel gives that freedom a heartbeat.
Feel.Travel. Because freedom is better together.
The community
But honestly? I'm not the real story here.
You are.
The 130,000+ remote workers who found their people on a trip. The TripLeaders who started as participants and became hosts. The friendships that started in a villa in Cyprus and are still alive today.
I built Feel.Travel. But it belongs to all of us.
